Thanks to YOU we raised $825 from 16 donors in the first ever statewide day of philanthropy in our state, Give Grande New Mexico. These funds make Taos Youth Music School possible! Thank you for your support and we look forward to next year!
We are a tuition-free after school music program for kids K-12th grade. Classes include music education, Garage Band and Youth Choir. We have outstanding teachers, dedicated to our program and to teaching, who are also all professional musicians. Our five teachers instruct 55-60 students each semester, in once-weekly classes.
“The classes are fun. We make friends from all over Taos. I plan on attending until I graduate from High School and then I would like to be a teacher for the Taos Youth Music School.”

“I have been attending TYMS for four years. I was in kindergarten when I started. I have learned lots of things. I have been able to play many instruments, including the marimba, the recorder, the guitar, the drum, the ukulele, and the piano. I love trying new instruments. The teachers are very supportive. I hope that everyone will attend one of the performances during the upcoming year.”
